Guage: Dennis Stream

1.00 Mike says, "The water level was perfect. Higher than average but good. We put in at the Sorrel Ridge Road (127 Highway, Rolling Dam,) and pulled out at the second covered bridge at Elmsville. There is a significant ledge drop two hundred metres below the put-in. No warm up. Our boats were air-bagged and we paddled through everything but there was a lot of bailing done. Paddlers can easily go around some of the drops if they choose. The rapids at Falls Brook would be a concern for most people at most water levels."
